[ - but maaaaaybe having some second thoughts. He's scared. The look in his eyes says he might try to bolt... but then he gulps and stands his ground.]


I'm supposed t-to be a cleric. So... you better heal.

[Just as those words leave his mouth, Zero yanks him closer -- a mixture of pain, hunger and desperation in his glowing eyes -- as he sinks his fangs hard into Chris' neck. His other hand also reflexively presses down on Chris' shoulder, keeping him in place and keeping the very unsteady vampire from falling over.]

[And... it hurts. It really seriously hurts. He can't help it as survival instincts automatically kick in and he tries to push away with BELATED PANIC, but unable to.]

[Barely notices that clawing amid the way all of his senses, his entire being really, immediately kick into overdrive, drunk on blood -- Just before gradually becoming more subdued as the pressure on Chris' skin lessons somewhat and the drinking becomes less frenzied, slow even as if tapering off...]

[You forgot virgin. Anyway! Sluggishly sliding fangs away with a loud breath, still a bit caught up in the thrall of his now-sated thirst but fully tasting the coppery tang in his mouth.]

[A small noise as the fangs release. It's almost relieved. Is he done? I'm still in one piece? Panting and just looking at Zero, wide-eyed, but not terrified.]

[Well it's good you're not panicked since as their eyes meet and then his drift down to the marks on Chris' neck, he sure is! Pushing him back, only to sway a little on his feet and land on his ass. At least those wounds aren't looking as nasty...]

[SERIOUS FACE IS nervous BUT SERIOUS. Stumbles back and bringing a hand up to his neck wound.]

[Feeling a little drowsy actually. Also possibly sane? Which considering all that happened. Is not exactly a wonderful thing. Will just be shaking a bit but staring at incredulously.]

[He THINKS, anyway. But also a bit light-headed due to, oh, blood loss. Now that Zero IS sane(r), looking him over and walking forward.]
